David was born in England in 1976. A day trip to London in 1994 to see the Richard Avedon Retrospective at the NPG, inspired him to embark on a career in photography.  After completing a photography degree he moved to London where his earliest commissions were for The Sunday Times, Blueprint Magazine and TBWA.

He has spent the subsequent years working with a wide variety of editorial and commercial clients worldwide.

David is admired for his understated style. He uses the location, combined with a sensitive handling of light to create beautifully crafted portraits.  Several of his photographs have been acquired and exhibited by the National Portrait Gallery.
